Charter Fishing Trips: Grand Lake & Lake Granby

Grand Lake, surrounded by majestic mountains, lies northwest of Shadow Mountain, 100 miles from Denver.  It's abundant supply of Rainbow, Brook, Mackinaw, Cutthroat Trout and Salmon makes it some of the best waters in the West.

Lake Granby, nestled on the western entry of the Rocky Mountain National Park, is the second largest lake in Colorado, 86 miles northwest of Denver on Highway 40.
A deep water lake conveniently situated between Winter Park and Grand Lake, it is generally less crowded than the more well known Grand Lake.

Our charter guides are licensed to fish in both lakes, so let us know if you have a preference for your trip.

Fishing with Bernie offers experienced, sought after guides year round. Convenient distance from Winter Park's all season resort accommodations gets you on the water and fishing for the big ones.

There's nothing quite like a fishing trip at either Lake Granby or Grand Lake, CO; no matter which season you choose. Quite a few of our guests have said it was an amazing lifetime experience, worthy of annual bookings.

Spring and fall, we'll also jig and cast various lures to Kokanee Salmon, Rainbows and Brown Trout.

Our experienced guides will put you where the big trout are biting! Hurry and book now for your fishing vacation.
